A toll free number is a telephone number, usually starting with 800, 888, 877 or 866, which may be composed of any public or private phone with no fee.
Toll-free numbers can be also dialed from mobile phones, but airtime charges still apply with most plans.

Once setup, the toll can be made from any phone in the United States or Canada and ringing on the preset phone number.
