Toll free

A toll free number is a telephone number, usually starting with 800, 888, 877 or 866, which may be composed of any public or private phone with no fee.
Toll-free numbers can be also dialed from mobile phones, but airtime charges still apply with most plans.
Anyone can have a toll free number, since all you need is an existing phone number (home, office or mobile phone) on which you want the toll rings, and there is no limit on the number of toll-free numbers that you can own. Once setup, the toll can be made from any phone in the United States or Canada and ringing on the preset phone number. The predefined phone number can be any phone number in the world, so you can have a ring toll free U.S. on a mobile phone in France. Since the call is free for the caller, the cost of the call is charged to the called party. Having a toll-free number is very cheap, which makes them a great option for everyone. In addition, you do not need to have a large number of calls to have a toll free number!
